The West End YMCA welcomes all who wish to participate and believes that no one should be denied access based on their ability to pay. Through our Open Doors program, we provide assistance to youth, adults, and families based on individual needs and circumstance.

Each year, the West End YMCA provides more $100k in direct assistance, membership, and program scholarships to individuals and families in the communities we serve!
Where does the funding come from?
The West End YMCA and it's branches raise Open Doors financial assistance funds throughout the year via our Special Events (Reindeer Romp 5k, Incredible Edibles Tasting Event, etc), our Annual Sustaining Campaign, and the generous support of our members and donors.
How do I apply?
Applicants must complete an Open Doors Application which can be downloaded and printed from this page, or obtained at any of our West End YMCA branches. Once completed, the Application must be returned to your YMCA branch along with all requested documentation. The Application will be processed and we will go from there!
